Dear Customers,
The security of clients’ networks and business information is of utmost importance to us at BBH Solutions. We monitor around the clock for new threats and continually patch your systems, and ours, as soon as updates are available.
BBH Solutions does not use the Solarwinds Orion Platform or any Solarwinds product for any of our services and solutions. We do not sell Solarwinds products, nor do we test it on any of our internal lab systems.
Both of our key security technology partners, Microsoft and Cisco, reported that they were mildly affected by the Solarwinds Orion breach. However, in both instances the breaches were contained to environments that are separate from those of BBH Solutions and our customers.
“While Cisco does not use SolarWinds Orion for its enterprise network management or monitoring, we have identified and mitigated affected software in a small number of lab environments and a limited number of employee endpoints,” Cisco said in a statement. “We continue to investigate all aspects of this evolving situation with the highest priority.”
“Like other SolarWinds customers, we have been actively looking for indicators of this actor and can confirm that we detected malicious SolarWinds binaries in our environment, which we isolated and removed,” Frank Shaw, Microsoft’s corporate vice president in charge of communications, said in a statement he posted on Twitter. “We have not found evidence of access to production services or customer data.”
